Ingredients
- 4 cups of long grained rice
- 1 bell pepper / capsicum
- 1 onion
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms sliced
- 1 tbsp garlic
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 cup peas
- 1 green onions
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 ½ tbsp dark sesame oil
- 1 cup water chestnuts
Heat peanut oil in a pan. Add to it onion, pepper, mushrooms and garlic. Cook till they are all golden brown. Add rice and soy sauce. Keep stirring. Add green onions along with the green stems. Add the chestnuts after draining the water from them. Add sesame oil and the peas and stir for another 1 minute till the water chestnuts and peas get cooked. Serve with extra soy sauce if necessary.
