Mix the flour and salt in a mixing bowl. Add the butter and mix well. Add ice water and with a fork stir lightly.
Put the dough on a work surface and sprinkle some flour on it. Spread the dough with your hand until it is spread out completely. As the butter gets into the dough it helps to make the dough flakier.
Round the dough into a ball and freeze for 20 minutes.
Then roll into rectangular shape and fold the top third point over the dough then fold the bottom third point over the dough making the edges touch each other. Fold the left point over the right and pinch the edges. Now repeat this folding process once again.
One done wrap it tight in plastic and freeze for 20 minutes. Bring it out and repeat the folding process again.
Gather the dough into a ball, and chill the dough in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Roll it out into a rectangular shape with the long sides running horizontally.
Fold the top third of the rectangle down over the dough.
Fold the bottom third of the rectangle up over the dough so the edges of the folded dough touch.
Fold the left edge of the dough over to meet the right edge, and pinch the seam.
Repeat steps 8 through 11.
Wrap the dough tightly in plastic wrap, and chill the dough in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Repeat steps 8 through 13.
Serve it cool.
